Moft O Review: Magnets Everywhere

Moft O is Moft’s latest Magsafe compatible phone stand. It is designed to look similar (but sleeker) to a PopSocket; however, it is a lot more functional than a simple PopSocket. The Moft O has multiple standing views, starting with a regular 45 degrees portrait and landscape modes. These angles are handy for reading, browsing through Twitter (portrait) or watching something on YouTube (landscape). However, it can also be flipped and adjusted based on the viewing angles to landscape 90 degrees. The most unique angle is vertical 90 degrees orientation that can easily be used for video calls or taking perfect videos for your TikTok audience.

Apart from being used as a stand, the Moft O can also be used as a very convenient and reliable grip. It makes holding your enormous phone a lot more usable. That being said, it is not particularly easy to fit your fingers in without being deliberate. I definitely liked the Moft Snap-On Stand and Wallet or even their Moft X more as a grip because I didn’t have to think before using it; it was more intuitive. But with Moft O, I do feel the usage to be a little more cumbersome.

Another reason I prefer the Moft Snap-On Stand and Wallet is that I can carry my ID along wherever I go. If that is not an issue for you and you like something minimal, the Moft O is a great product. The Moft Snap-On Stand definitely adds more bulk to your device, especially if you have a case and a couple of cards. The Moft O is barely noticeable, and I do prefer that in most instances.

The final excellent addition that came along with the Moft O is the addition of the magnetic sticker that can essentially turn any device into MagSafe accessory compatible. I use the Moft O on my Galaxy Z Fold 2 (by attaching the magnetic sticker) more than on my iPhone 12 mini because my Fold 2 warrants a grip. Every single grip I’ve seen attaches to the phone, and I don’t need that on my Fold 2. However, the magnetic sticker and the Moft O combination removes all those hurdles as I can simply detach the Moft O and even the reusable magnetic sticker.

Overall I would suggest the Moft O with a magnetic sticker to anyone with any device. Most people I know don’t want something stuck to their phone 24/7. The Moft O offers the best of both worlds by having a grip/stand whenever you want and removing it whenever you don’t. However, if you have an iPhone 12 series phone, I would strongly suggest you go with the Moft Snap-On Stand and Wallet, primarily because of the wallet functionality.
